WHERE DO OUR CARS COME FROM?

Finding vehicles in the right condition is without doubt the hardest and continually frustrating part of our business. We have simply lost count of the number of times we have travelled 300 miles to purchase a ‘perfect’ car only to discover that it is decidedly average; some owners simply do not know the difference although some may just hope that we don’t.

Mostly, we have found that privately sold cars tend to be lacking in service history or some other aspect of specification or condition etc… and as a result very few of our vehicles originate from this source.

More typically, the type of person that owns cars in the all round condition we are looking for purchase a new or relatively late registered vehicle from one of the prestige main dealer groups and part-exchange their car as part of that process. Main dealer chains can only sell their own brands and even then there are limits on the number they can physically stock due to basic space, financial and other constraints, as a result of this many of this part exchanges are offered to dealers like us.
