FINANCE

In respect to financing (subject to status) we can offer a LIBOR + 3.25% tracker policy (LIBOR is the interest rate that the banks charge each other for loans).

Because these are floating rates with a fixed monthly payment the final balloon will change depending on the LIBOR rates over the period of the loan therefore we have included one balloon figure as an indication if rates stay as they are and another as an indication should they rise to 3%.

As a rough guide you would be looking at the following figures;

BEFORE WE START; a quick response to some common questions

1.     Our ‘Fixed Fair Pricing Policy’ – Despite the condition of this vehicle being far above ‘average’ and this being a warranty backed dealer sale its price has been set at a fair level that simply reflects its age and mileage. In respect of this price, please do not send emails asking ‘what is the best price for cash’ etc… as our prices are fixed and have not been set high in the first place (we receive so many mails relating to this that we are unable to reply to them so please do not waste time sending them and do not be offended if you don’t get a reply)

2.     To purchase this vehicle we only require a £500 deposit which you can do over the phone or via Pay Pal - for full details - click here

7.     Lastly, we only sell through ebay and the only phone number you should ever see is 078 999 687 32 so if you see this vehicle being offered by anyone else for example in ‘Exchange & Mart’ or ‘Auto Trader’ (usually at a simply ridiculous price) please let us know as it will be a SCAM ADVERT designed to steal money from a naïve buyer (because of the quality of the pictures and the desirability of our vehicles at least one of our listing’s seems to get targeted every week)

COSMETIC CONDITION

As you will have already seen through the above links the condition of this car is very different from the vast majority of examples you will find not just because of the very low mileage but also because these are wealthy people’s cars and this group of individuals are not always the most careful with their possessions.

Furthermore it has not suffered the regular and often extensive ‘wear-and-tear’ so often afflicted by children during the ‘school run’ – basically its owner did not use this car to carry, DIY projects, children or pets.

The interior and upholstery is exceptionally clean being totally devoid of any trace of wear, stains or other types of general abuse and being a non-smokers car (the cigar lighter is even unused) there are obviously no burns or lingering smells and the ash tray has only ever been used to store coins etc…

Moving on to the outside this very much reflects the condition of the interior in that it basically looks much the same as it did when it left the factory not just because of the mileage but also due it its owners wise £750 investment in having the whole front end and arches etc… professionally covered with a plastic film called ‘Paint Shield’ when the car was new. As a result of this it is completely free of any trace or suggestion of damage from even the smallest stone chip or other mark.

It is quite beyond me how anybody manages to keep a car in this sort of condition, however the fact that they did remains quite unarguable; for example even the polished alloys are in exceptional condition suggesting not only that its owner was a careful parker, but also that they regularly removed the build up of corrosive brake dust.

HOW CAN YOU BE SURE THIS IS A GOOD CAR?

It is very hard to accurately represent a vehicles condition simply through words and pictures however as experienced car dealers with over 80 years of combined experience within the company there are a number of things we have learnt to look for that give a good gauge of a cars history. This is the reason that we include so many pictures of things that you are probably not used to seeing in a car advert; specifically we include these pictures for the following reasons.

1.     Door & body shuts - so that you can inspect for yourself that there is no rust in the seams, evidence of replacement door skins, ‘over-spray’ from previous repairs or other signs of a ‘very bad car’ à The car you are viewing has no rust or overspray on any door or body shuts and has not had any replacement door skins

2.     Wing bolt heads - the front wings of most cars are fixed to the chassis by a set of small bolts that are painted at the same time as the body when the car is new. If a car has been in an accident these bolts will have had this factory paint coating damaged as a result of them having to be un-bolted or adjusted à The car you are viewing has never had its wing bolts undone or adjusted and as such they are complete with their factory paint coating

3.     Panel gaps - individual manufactures vary, however they generally expend a great deal of effort insuring their vehicles leave the factory with even panel gaps as it is an inference of both the quality of the car, and their manufacturing process. Unless a car has been in an accident these gaps should be the same as when they left the factory à The car you are viewing has all the correct panel gaps and its shuts and closures fit as they should

4.     Factory stickers - when a car is made the factory apply a number of stickers (both on the glass and in the shuts) that cover various information or warning messages. These ‘factory stickers’ are always missing from cars that have had accident repair because they are virtually impossible to obtain outside of the manufactures factory environment à The car you are viewing is complete with all its original factory stickers

5.     Supplying dealer number plates - if a car has both the original front and rear number plates as fitted when the car was new (rather than an accident repair centre) this is significant because it indicates that it is unlikely to ever have had even the kind of light ‘bump’ that would shatter the original plates à The car you are viewing has both its original dealer supplied number plates

6.     Keys - if both original keys are present and they each work in all the locks it is a strong indication that it has not had any locks changed, which would have happened if it had been broken into or stolen at any point in its life à The car you are viewing has both original keys and they work in all the locks

7.     Glass - all the glass on an accident free car (with the exception of maybe the windscreen) should have the correct factory insignia and originate from the same factory date as if a car is in a big accident invariably it all gets broken and when it is replaced the date stamps will be different à The glass on the car you are viewing has the correct insignia and originates from the same factory date

8.     A full service history – apart from corroborating the vehicles mileage cars with a full service history will have had any recalls and other work carried out as soon as they were appropriate as well as having had all the minor (for want of a better term) ‘bits and pieces’ attended to. Additionally a full and regular service history indicates that the cars owner had the money and motivation to properly look after it and we have traditionally found that this provides a good inference on their approach to taking care of, and maintaining the vehicle in general à The car you are viewing has a full service history

9.     HPI Clear – the HPI register or “hit list” as it is sometime know is the national database for all accidents, finance and theft records that relate to a vehicle. A car’s HPI certificate will show each category and report any applicable data and for a car to be ‘HPI clear’ it must report “NOT RECORDED” after every category which means that the vehicle has not been involved in any insurance payouts, write-offs or theft and also that it has no un-cleared finance still owing à The car you are viewing is HPI CLEAR and is supplied with an original copy HPI certificate

MECHANICAL CONDITION

As you would expect of a car with this low mileage and after viewing all the above photographs, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car in terms of its mechanical condition. Most certainly if you have not driven one of these before you will be very surprised at how nice they are to drive. The roads around London are always full of incredibly expensive new cars but I can never really work out how people ever manage to rationalise the cost or what their owners could possibly be getting that a car like this does not offer, except maybe a large monthly finance bill and the guarantee of savage depreciation in just three years and a handful of miles (as can be evidenced in the price of the vehicle you are looking at).

Specifically, it runs just as it should, does not leak or use any oil or water and is a real pleasure to drive. Additionally as you would expect of a Full Service History vehicle, the antifreeze and brake fluid is clean being free of contamination, as is the oil.

TYRES

This vehicle is fitted with a full set of factory specification Bridgestone tyres and all are in good condition.

ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

·        The Sat Nav system is complete with its disk and is fully operational

·        The air conditioning is fully functional

·        The transmission works smoothly, both on the up and down changes

·        The ABS and other safety systems all do what they are supposed to when needed

·        It does not have any interior leaks or warning lights showing on the dashboard, nor are there any service warnings on the display panel

·        The stereo and its remote systems all works as they should

·        The onboard computer is fully functional & all the display LEDs are without any ‘dead’ pixels

There are no qualifications with the above statements, it starts, stops, goes round bends and drives in a way that is not tangibly different from what it must have been like when new with the engine sounding exactly as it should. Please take your time to examine our feedback history from which you will see that we mean what we say and that all our previous customers were happy with their purchases.

POINTS OF NOTE

At this point in our listings we almost always have a section supported by pictures that detail any specific points regarding the condition of the car such as a scratch on the bumper or a dent in the door etc… However in this particular case we cannot think of anything of note to mention – this car really has been looked after and is in quite exceptional condition. We appreciate that on a car of almost any age and mileage the lack of points regarding problems might lead some readers to be suspicious, however we cannot mention anything if there is simply nothing further to say although if we do come across anything it will be added to this listing.
