You have the opportunity purchase a top of the range black ‘Chrome Edition’ Honda Valkyrie Rune NRX 1800 with only 490 miles which (as you have no doubt seen from the above links) is basically new and which comes with the added benefit of its “A1 NRX” registration number.

BACKGROUND TO THIS MODEL

At a reputed cost of over $100,000 each to manufacture less than 1,500 of these bikes were made in the USA by Honda simply to prove that it had the ability to produce a truly ‘custom’ bike for the domestic market. They were all made in 2004 & 2005 and there were only two versions the ‘Standard’ and the more expensive ‘Chrome Edition’ (which is the one for sale here).

The mechanicals are based on the 6 cylinder Goldwing and all parts are available to order from U.K. Honda Dealers; they were only ever sold in the United States and there were no official U.K. imports.

OWNERSHIP DETAILS

This bike was imported in November 2007 by the import specialists D&K and has had one private owner who kept it in a heated garage and it has obviously never seen rain.
